How to redeem your eBike rebate certificate

  • Step 1

    Apply for the eBike Rebate through the Minnesota Department of Revenue. The application opened June 2024. You will find out if you are approved on July 1, 2024.

  • Step 2

    Choose which Lectric eBike you would like and any accessories; create a wishlist by clicking the heart on each desired product, then copy the link of your wishlist. Then, email your certificate information, a form of ID, and your wishlist link to [email protected].

  • Step 3

    Finally, call us at (888) 546-3139 and we will help you apply the rebate and order your eBike!

We are available M-F 9am-4pm PT. Your certificate can only be redeemed by calling the Lectric eBikes team.

You must use your rebate certificate within 2 months of the issue date.

I have my certificate, what do I do now?

Email your certificate information and a form of ID to [email protected] and call Lectric eBikes at (888) 546-3139 (M-F 8am-5pm PDT) to order your Lectric eBike!

When can I apply for the Minnesota eBike Rebate?

Because there is a limited number of certificates you are not guaranteed a certificate if you apply.

I don't live in Minnesota, can I get a certificate for a Lectric eBike?

To be eligible, you must be at least 15 years old when applying, a Minnesota resident, and not have been claimed as a dependent in tax year 2023.

Can I test ride or buy a Lectric eBike in person?

You can find a full list of Lectric test ride locations here.

If you would like to order an eBike with a rebate certificate you will have to order from our team. You cannot buy a Lectric eBike from a dealer and apply the rebate.

If I am approved, how long do I have to redeem my certificate?

If you get a rebate certificate, you must use the certificate at an approved retailer within two months or it will expire. The certificate is worth 50-75% of a qualifying purchase, up to $1,500. The percentage is based on your income.
