    New brake pads install

I have learned that the brake pads are easy to install. I found out the hard way that when a caliper piston popped out I had to get a kit to put the brake fluid in and bleed it. I've always worked on my own cars and motorcycles so it wasn't hard. Overall this 3.0 Lectric EB bike is and AWESOME bike to own and maintain seeing that I can't find anyone in Dallas to fix it anyway. I Luke how the folks at Lectric have always helped me with advice and videos on doing any task on the bike. I feel like I made the best choice for my personal transportation by investing in a Lectric EB bike!

    brake pads

I have an XPeak which I got in Feb of this year. I ride about 5 to 6 days a week and ride up and down lots of hills and several stop lights and stop signs, so the brakes are kind of important. I changed the pads at about 1200 miles and just changed again at 2400 miles. The bike is 60lbs and I am about 215 lbs so the brakes get a workout coming to a stop. I don't know how long the pads are supposed to last but for most riders they probably don't put on the number or kind of miles I have. I have loved the bike as it has allowed me to keep riding, on my old bike with the number of hills it was getting near the end of my riding days. Now I am looking forward to many more.

    Perfect Fit

Watched the video that shows how to replace brake pads first. Very easy to replace. Did require a little positioning to get the assembly to drop in. Very easy to replace on my own.
