I received my upgrade kit last week and was able to immediately have installed. THIS is the bike I should have experienced from the beginning. Brakes work amazing and really make my Lectric 3.0 a more care free riding experience. My ONLY complaint was the lengthy wait for the repair kit to arrive. My personal experience was beyond “bad” prior to this upgrade. I had had my bike in for adjustments and brake tweaks on 10 separate occasions. (All at my expense). Even resorted to dragging my foot on ground to bring bike to a stop. On two occasion brakes Locked up completely and wouldn’t allow tire to spin. Left me stranded on trails with issue falling on me with little to no response from company other than emails with link to upgrade application.

I am begging Lectric to work on their response time to bike issues. For some this is an occasional ride for me it is a daily escape. Asking me to “discontinue use” and wait for upgrade was unrealistic and somewhat held me captive to a timeline of your choosing. Rarely anyone to answer phones and emails redirecting me without answering concerns related to my issue. It was deflating and frustrating.

Additionally I need to add that the upgrade was installed at MY expense. This cost should never have been a put on to the consumer.

I love my Lectric Bike, I love the ebike experience but will seriously consider other companies when making my next purchase. The cost and frustration of this upgrade combined with lack of compassion from…
